Derivation Techniques on the Hermitian Surface
We discuss derivation–like techniques for transforming one locally Hermitian partial ovoid of the Hermitian surface H(3, q2) into another one. These techniques correspond to replacing a regulus by its opposite in some naturally associated projective 3–space PG(3, q) over a square root subfield. متن کاملRelative Hemisystems on the Hermitian surface
Relative hemisystems on the Hermitian surface are a concept in finite geometry, first defined by by Penttila and Williford in 2011. They were introduced as an analogous and fruitful concept to hemisystems, another class of geometric objects which have had a compelling history since their introduction by B. Segre almost 50 years ago. Penttila and Williford’s definition of relative hemisystems wa...
متن کاملthe role of task-based techniques on the acquisition of english language structures by the intermediate efl students
this study examines the effetivenss of task-based activities in helping students learn english language structures for a better communication. initially, a michigan test was administered to the two groups of 52 students majoring in english at the allameh ghotb -e- ravandi university to ensure their homogeneity. the students scores on the grammar part of this test were also regarded as their pre...

We present a new method for the study of hemisystems of the Hermitian surface U3 of PG(3, q2). The basic idea is to represent generator-sets of U3 by means of a maximal curve naturally embedded in U3 so that a sufficient condition for the existence of hemisystems may follow from results about maximal curves and their automorphism groups. In this paper we obtain a hemisystem in PG(3, p2) for eac...
متن کاملOn the superstability of a special derivation
The aim of this paper is to show that under some mild conditions a functional equation of multiplicative $(alpha,beta)$-derivation is superstable on standard operator algebras. Furthermore, we prove that this generalized derivation can be a continuous and an inner $(alpha,beta)$-derivation.
